Build a Simple Hub and Spoke

Choose the hub

Pick one core commercial topic such as Bathroom Renovations Melbourne.
Make this the best page on the subject. Use clear sections and FAQs.

Create five spokes

Write detailed guides that solve sub topics such as Costs, Timeline, Materials, Suburb pages, and Before and After.
Answer one topic per page with real examples and images.

Connect the cluster

From the hub link to each spoke with a short summary.
From each spoke link back to the hub in the introduction and conclusion.
Cross link between related spokes where it helps the reader.

Anchors That Work

Use natural phrases inside a sentence. Avoid generic anchors like click here.
Keep anchors short. Five words or fewer is usually best.
When linking to the hub vary the anchor slightly to avoid repetition.

Placement for Maximum Impact

Put one internal link above the fold that points to the next step.
Add a small related links box near the end with two or three choices.
Use breadcrumb links to reinforce the structure.
